I am looking for something that you can supplement an NPK fertilizer with that will increase crop yields and efficiency. Any ideas?

Answer by the long shot
Soil Test. Adjust your levels of NPK accordingly. Check your PH. You might have to lime the soid to reduce PH for said crop.

Use organic fertiliser also.
when you have optimal fertility, adding more will sometimes decrease yield, depending on the crop. micro nutrients are important as are micro-organisms. Ph in the optimal range is very important and is crop dependent. the maximum yield of a plant is often limited by its genetic traits, and more fertilizer may not have any effect (crop dependent)
