We have several arborvitaes and we would like to see them to grow faster. what would be the best fertilizer or way to make it happen?

are you sure you don’t have a dwarf variety that will stay compact? Just asking. Osmocote is a good, all around fertilizer for ornamentals. It’s slow release, won’t burn, and super easy to put out.

I’ve never encountered a guarantee, and I don’t suppose this is common because the success of the turf depends on how well the ground is prepared, how soon after delivery it goes down, how well it’s laid and whether it’s kept watered for a while after laying it. I think that it’s the buyer’s responsilbility to ensure the turf is the right quality when it’s delivered and complain immediately (ie within 24 hours) if it’s not what was expected and paid for. After that time, turf can deteriorate very fast, from factors outside the control of the turf company, so a guarantee would not be expected.

I need to spread lawn fertilizer (pellets) and lawn insecticide (pellets) and am wondering if it’s OK to do both on the same day (is it safe for the health of the grass)? The fertilizer brand and type is: Sta-Green Southern Weed & Feed with AtraZine, 25-0-8. The insecticide brand and type is: Bayer Advanced Complete Insect Killer granules.

Fertilizer should be watered in.
