Hey guys.
So i’m a male high school sophomore from Michigan. I’m beginning to look at my college options and where i would like to go.
I guess what im asking is, do i have a good chance of getting into one of my top choice colleges? Thanks.
-My current GPA is 3.8.
-My Extracurriculars are:
Boys Basketball-all my life
Boys Soccer-all my life
Boys Football-8th grade
Boys track-all middle school and possibly junior and senior year
Gymnastics-all my life
Swimming
Band-6th and 7th grade
Student Council President-6th, 7th, 9th, 10th, etc. grade.
SAFE Youth (anti-drug group)-all high school
Pals (mentoring underprivileged children)-all high school
Freshman Snowball court rep
Church Involvement:
-Alter Serving-4 years
-Teaching 2nd grade religion class weekly-all high school
-youth group
-Special youth church council
Jobs:
-Swimschool (life guard and teacher)-all high school
-Ice Cream Shop-2 years
-Mowing lawns
Community Service:
SAFE Group (atleast 20 hours a year)
Swimschool volunteering-10 hours
Religion Classes-40 hours a year
-Already have over 70 hours.

I am extremely involved in my school and community. I am able to achieve good grades and also write very good essays.
Do I have any chance of being accepted to any of these colleges based on personal experience??Thanks!

18 months ago I called a lawn company to aerate my lawn with liqued aeration. The guy (a contractor the company sold my “job” to) filled his dry, empty sprayer with water and sprayed part of my lawn until I asked him why he was spraying it with water.
He answered that he was out of the solution but that there was probably some still left in the sprayer. I told him to come back when he had the solution.
The company set up a date for him to come, I stayed home from work and he never came.
Now they are telling me that they are sending me to a collection agency even though I’ve sent letters, contacted the State Attorney General’s office, the BBB (they now have an F rating).
What can I do?

Answer by savvy
Send a letter to the collection agency explaining everything. Don’t pay them anything. The worst that can happen is it stays on your credit report for 7 years.
