Question by Allen: where to buy cheaper artificial lawn?
We are thinking of having our lawn replaced with artificial stuff as the grass just wont grown in our garden, all neighbours have the same problem.
We have a very small area which we want to cover, anybody know a cheaper supplier?

Well to start with the words cheap and/or inexpensive do not belong anywhere near a project like this. You can not just buy artificial turf and lay it down on the ground. You will have to put a solid base under it. Actually you could just lay it down on bare ground, however it would not last more than a few months at best. There needs to ba a base of at least compacted crushed rock and that would only work for maybe six to eight months. To get a long lasting lawn you will need a base of concrete or asphalt and that will not even come close to cheap.

Question by Norcal Footie: Is it be possible to lay artificial turf over a grass field stadium?
In example, if the Seattle Sounders of the MLS wanted to install and play on real grass, but the Seahawks didn’t want to. Would it be possible to lay the artificial turf for every Seahawks game? Or would it be too much of a hassle and work?
